![]() HUH? Automatically depositing stuff sounds more convenient, but it’s immediately confusing that there isn’t a textbox right away at least the first time ever that says, ” You deposited everything in your Bag into the storage house. It turns out you’re supposed to just assume that merely walking inside the Storage House, automatically deposits everything in your Bag there, BECAUSE THAT’S logical, and the menu you immediately got sent into rather than an actual building to walk around in, is actually dedicated to letting you already take stuff out of it that you deposited. Why is it the only Harvest Moon games that explain shipping seem to be the ones with a shipping bin?! Couldn’t I just manually deposit everything from a menu, at first, wouldn’t that have been easier to immediately understand? There’s a bookshelf and it does jack shit to tell you about the convoluted way shipping works. That is how you know the game has failed at conveyance. I had to look up how to put things in the storage. NOPE, because when I checked, the berries were still in my bag. So I pressed A a bunch of times, naturally assuming that this was me depositing the berries into storage. I don’t like this, it just spoils the various items of the game before you actually get to collect them. But I pressed A over them and a sound happened suggesting otherwise, and the only thing in color was a picture of those berries I collected from the mountain path which actually lets me jump down its ledges. For all I knew, since this was merely an 8-bit game, that looked like every item in the game was there. You’ll see a huge amount of blocks with every possible item in the game in each of them, grayed out. And it TAKES FOREVER because you have to make a separate call for every one kind of item!!! It’d be better to have a normal shipping bin AND a way to ship items in bulk.įirst off, you have to walk into the Storage House with stuff in your bag. ![]() ![]() You put stuff in a Storage House, and phone the buyer in your house AFTER 8:00 AM. I’ve since familiarized myself with Story of Season’s form of shipping and gotten to prefer shipping in bulk with no passing of time over shipping one at a time.īut the problem is that while a shipping bin is a concept that explains itself, this game’s handling of shipping will have you inevitably look up online how you’re supposed to do it. My first experience with this game way back was playing it for less than an in-game day and immediately deleting it because it didn’t even have a shipping bin and I played as the girl, while I was expected to trust the partner to till the soil and plant for me, which of course I wasn’t okay with when I prefer farming over ranching and tilling requires skill in the earlier games.
